Ted is Dead and Massachusetts Vtes Red – Obama Says it’s Bsh’s Fault as Usual

by Lawrence on Jan.21, 2010, under Barack Obama's Lies, Politics

Here it is, the day after Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts. In this aftermath, Barack Obama’s talking points as uttered by himself and Robert Gibbs, his propagandist is that “it doesn’t have to do with the last one or two years, but rather the last eight years. Still blaming Bush. It doesn’t seem like such a hot explanation given the fact that Massachusetts is a dark blue state, and supposedly, according to Obama and his political advisors, the people decided to show their anger with George Bush by electing a Republican rather than the Democrat that Obama endorsed and spoke for. Yeah, Obama-logic rarely makes sense, but this is going to a whole new low in their perception of the intelligence of the American people.

According to Scott Brown’s own opinion polls, most of the people who voted for him did so because of national security. If you remember, that was one area where John F. Kennedy, a true Democrat, was strong in. Of course, the healthcare debate has a lot to do with it. Although liberal, the majority of the people in Massachusetts disagree with Obamacare just like the majority of people in the United States.

One troubling issue is that many people blame the problems solely on the Democrat leadership in congress. Of course, Harry Reed’s backroom deals and Nancy Pilosi’s blatant disregard for the will of the people are major factors. We need also put equal blame on the Obama administration’s policies. He has been touring around, campaigning, and basically pimping all the different plans that have been coming out of the congress. He chose to put the Stimulus bill in Nancy Pilosi’s hands and supported it afterwards. Obama’s people have been in Harry Reed’s backroom meetings helping to craft whatever monstrosity of a bill they are finalizing now. Why can’t he share some of the blame too? He has endorsed three Democratic candidates in Virginia, New Jersey, and now Massachusetts that have all lost to Republicans, anon Gd he still blames it on George Bush?

To Obama: No slick, the American people are sick of all the things that your and the other Democrat leaders have been doing. We would be willing to give you time to address the economy , but we actually have. I know that things cannot change dramatically in one year, but give us credit for having thoughts about your decisions in trying to address the issue. We know that punishing and demonizing businesses is not going to help create jobs. You’re just playing to peoples’ emotions and trying to get more money to spend. Making deals with your money-donors and the special interest like the special union tax waiver in the healthcare bill just shows that you lied about not listening to the special interest. Somehow your special interest groups are special and the others are evil.

So union members that have the same healthcare plan as non-union members don’t have to pay the 40 percent tax that the rest of the people have to? So, Nebraska gets a special deal on Medicaid to buy Ben Nelson’s vote? So Louisiana gets a special $300 million deal to get Mary Landrieu’s vote? So Bill Nelson’s vote got bought for allowing seniors to keep Medicare advantage in 3 Democratic counties in Florida while the rest of the state and country don’t?

Call me silly, but if you were not in favor of these deals, you might have spoken out against them.

Call me naive, but you probably could have requested that Harry Reed’s backroom deals in the Obamacare meetings the last few weeks could have been televised on C-Span like you promised eight times. At least you could have called for it.

Maybe you could have argued against the taxes on healthcare plans that will actually make healthcare plans more expensive for us, unlike your promises of reducing our expenses.

Nahhhh.. none of that had to do with Massachusetts voting in a Republican into a senate seat that has been occupied by Democrats for the last 58 years. Besides, it’s Bush’s fault that they voted for a Republican. Yeah, you make a lot of sense… dumbass.

C-Span Finally Calls on Obama to stop Breaking his Promise of Transparency

by Lawrence on Jan.05, 2010, under Politics

Barack Obama has broken a lot of campaign promises and has done a lot of lying since he took office, but one of the most frustrating things about Obama’s hipocracy is his approach to transparency. How many times did he promise an “unprecedented transparency” from his administration? Nany Pilosi made the same promise back in 2006 when the Democrats took control of the congress. Yet, they have have shown that their approach to transparency is to keep the media and the American people in the dark as mush as possible until bills are voted on as we find out about them after the vote!

Obambi, the Liar in Chief

The Democrats have been persisting with their secret meetings throughout the construction of their house and senate healthcare bills. On an almost complete, party-line vote, they have shoved things through and made the documents available to the people only after voting on the various bills in committee or on the floor. Hell, even the congress members themselves only get to see the bills right before voting and without any time to read them.

Pilosi will be one of 3-4 people to create the final healthcare bill that will decide our health and well-being

While most of us who follow politics and are not brain-dead sheep, are pissed off about this back-room dealing. C-Span has finally joined the cause. Being the sole network that covers the government 24/7, they got sick of the fact that they were banned from all of these back-room meetings where the bills were actually written. These meetings were exclusively attended by Democrats and banned Republicans, media, and ordinary citizens from observing. Now, C-Span is finally calling on Obama to live up to his promise and ask the congress to open up these final meetings on the combination of the house and senate healthcare b ills to teh public. I predict that Obama and the Democrats will ignore them and not other being transparent. Hell, they’re passing a healthcare bill that the American people are against, check just about every poll and you’ll see that it isn’t even close! They don’t care, they want to runt he healthcare industry, and there is no way they will be held back from this greatest of all socialist dreams.

“Dirty” Harry Reed has been creating the senate bill behind closed doors the whole time, so why stop now?

Democrats Determined to Ram Whatever Healthcare Pot Pouri they got Down our Throats

by Lawrence on Dec.15, 2009, under Politics, Tyranny

Despite the fact that every single poll out there shows that the majority of the people in the United States are against the various healthcare proposals that the Democrats have been putting together, King Obama called together all senate Democrats to teh White House today to create a unified 60 vote coalition to make whatever current bill they have go through the senate for a final vote.  At this point, none of us know what the current draft of the bill is like. Apparently, the government option is gone and apparently they took out the expansion of Medicare to people 55 and over. Yet, we know nothing else.  It is quite likely that all of the mandates and controls over the medical system are still there, which means it is still government control anyway. Apparently, the $500 billion cut in Medicare is still there as well. Yet, we don’t know for sure.  The Democrats have stopped informing us of what their current bill includes weeks ago.

Yep, it’s more of that “unprecedented transparency” that we were promised by Obama, Reed, and Pilosi. Basicallly, they tell us what they want us to think, and they hide what is actually going on. All we know is that they are determined to pass whatever it is before Christmas. Yet, we must assume that some of the following issues are still part of the package:

  • The most recent plan included an up to 40% tax increase on private health insurance plans. These are the so-called “Cadillac plans.” Of course there are still taxes on all kinds of private health plans.  This will obviously increase the costs of our healthcare, despite the promise that they are doing this to lower our healthcare costs.  Why tax us for having health insurance?  On the flip side, they fine you if you don’t have a health insurance plan.  What’s the deal? They’re just determined to fund their government bureaocracyover the healthcare industry on the backs of all of us.  We’re basically just going to be paying for the government to expand its power, not for improving our own healthcare.
  • The $500 billion cut in Medicare will obviously be scary for seniors and those nearing retirement. The notion that Medicare will not cut benefits even though they are significantly reducing its funding is purely laughable. the money isn’t going to go toward improving Medicare, the funds will go toward creating the giant bureaocracy that the government needs to create in order to rule over the entire healthcare system.  Seeing how Medicare is going to be bankrupt in 8 years, it obviously needs fixing, but theis healthcare takeover is not focused on fixing anything, it’s merely focused on taking over the parts of the halthcare industry that government has not already ruined.
  • while the government “option” may not be in the bill, all the regulations that the bills have had thus far control every aspect of the helathcare system.  From defining what types of plans are approved and allowed by the government to creating rules for health insurance companies and healthcare providers, how can anyone say that the government isn’t going to be in control of the healthcare system? It still is a government takeover.  All this money is just going to go to creating the gigantic government entity that will be controlling the whole system.

Let’s fave it folks, wheter we like it or not, the Democrats are determined to ram this thing through on us, and according to the numbers, they don’t need any Republicans to help.  All the bickering so far has been about making all the Democrats agree on their own plan that they developed on their own behind closed doors. Despite the fact that most of the country is against it, they will shove it down our troats. Let’s also face reality here, these plans are not designed to do any of t things they promised.  Healthcare costs will go up due to the government’s mandates and taxes, there will still be about 25 million uninsured people, and there will be less options for all of us since the government has to approve all healthcare plans.  With this example of how the ruling Democrat party does not listen or care what the people think, we can rest assured their striving to take over the healthcare system will not allow for customer feedback.

Barack Obama’s Lies Part 14 – He’s Fighting Against the Spwcial Interest (He Organizes the Special Interest)

by Lawrence on Aug.27, 2009, under Barack Obama's Lies, Politics, Tyranny

For the past few weeks, the mantra of the government healthcare promoters has been “Health Insurance Reform.” Barack Obama, Nancy Pilosi, Harry Reed, Henry Waxman, and Barney Frank (the usual far-left suspects) have been demonizing health insurance companies and have been blaming the surge of disappointment from the American public with the Obamacare bills on “special interest groups.” Obama and Pilosi have been characterizing their plans to take over the healthcare system as fighting for the little guy against big special interest. Of course, the polls indicate that it is the majority of the American public that is against Obamacare. Does the majority of the American people work for the health insurance industry?

At the same time, the Democratic National committee has been mobilizing its union groups, including SEIU, NEA, UAW, and AARP on bus trips to town hall meetings to pressure congressmen to support whatever Obamacare bills come out of committee. This sounds more like the real “Astroturf” to me. As Nancy Pilosi characterizes anyone against the Democrats’ plans as “swastika bearing neo-Nazis,” the polls seem to indicate that the majority of the people in our country are apparently neo-Nazis because they do not support the Obamacare proposals.

Organizing for America, Barack Obama’s campaign fund-raising organization is now run out of the DNC and is staging town hall meetings and funding their union thugs to go to these meetings to look like they are actually int he majority of opinion instead of what the polls clearly indicate. So, where’s the real Astroturf? It’s amazing how the far-left is actually trying to get away with having their paid operatives fake the semblance of having the majority of the public in favor of Obama’s healthcare plans. No wonder his approval ratings are plummeting. How long will he be able to get away with his lies and propaganda?

Here, SEIU thugs wearing their purple union T-shirts are beating up a man outside of a town hall meeting. This reminds me of the kind of stuff that Chavez or Castro would organize. no wonder why these two dictators like Obama so much.

Do you Support a Public Option Health Insurance Plan? Here are some Questions your Proponents can’t seem to Answer

by Lawrence on Aug.06, 2009, under Politics, Tyranny

Here is one point that is not being answered by the proponents of the government-run plan in the healthcare debate. Those who want the government to run the healthcare system and drive out private insurance companies cannot seem to explain why the current government plans that are designed to make sure everyone has the opportunity to get healthcare coverage aren’t doing what they’re designed to do.

  • Medicare - This is the government program that is supposed to provide healthcare to the elderly as well as the disabled. If there are elderly people or disabled people not receiving healthcare, this is the program that is supposed to do it. why doesn’t the government fix Medicare first, instead of taking over the health insurance industry? The fact that Medicare is running out of money and will soon be bankrupt might also be a red flag that maybe the government already has its hands full and should not be expanding its control over healthcare.
  • Medicaid - This is the government program that is supposed to provide healthcare to those who cannot afford private insurance plans. So, if there are people who cannot afford healthcare and want to, maybe this is a program that is not working as it should be. Why doesn’t government fix this program instead of taking over the whole industry?
  • COBRA and HIPA - These are two government mandates that force insurance companies to cover people who lose their health insurance from changing jobs, divorce, or whatever occurs that separates people from their healthcare policies. COBRA mandates insurance of the same coverage for 18 months, and then HIPA takes over indefinitely after that. So, if people are not insured because their coverage has been dropped, why don’t they call their insurance companies and demand the COBRA and HIPA coverage? If these plans are not affordable or not working, then why doesn’t the government fix these mandates first before taking over the rest of the healthcare insurance industry?

The Effectiveness of Government as an Insurance Company

Even beside the concept of personal responsibility and budgeting effectively to make sure that healthcare insurance is a priority instead of other expenditures in life, people also have these already existing government programs to make sure that they receive healthcare coverage. Either people are not using the programs, or the programs are not working effectively. In either case, these are government programs that are already in existence. Shouldn’t the government make sure that their current programs are working effectively instead of taking over more? When Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, Barney Frank, and all the special interest groups (AARP, AMA, SEIU, and AFL-CIO) argue that our current healthcare insurance system is not working, should they not take a look at themselves and the government programs that are already there that are apparently not working? No, they just want to take over more. It’s the typical statis line, “We can’t be expected to make the current programs work because we need to take over more of the industry to make it all work.”

Basically, the statist  idea is that the government should be given more and more power and control. Then, their programs don’t work as they are supposed to. Then, the government says that they need even more power and control to make things work. The vicious cycle continues until the government runs everything aws in socialist countries, and then the entire country becomes a failed state. At thsi point, the government can only maintain power and control by eliminating dissent and using totalitarian tactics such as propaganda and secret security organizations to make sure that their power and failures do not get free and open debate. This is where we are heading folks.?

So, all you people who want a government-run public option in health insurance coverage, why should we have the government run the whole industry when these government programs that should be eliminating the the problem of uninsured people are not working effectively? Why should the government have more power and control instead of fixing what it has already has? With Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, being the the government’s main insurance programs, are going bankrupt, why should we have the government expand their control over insuring us?

So, how good do you think the government customer service office will be in this one and only insurance company for the whole country?
