The Democrat Party, Control the People Parrty, Now Owns all of our Health Care Problems
by Lawrence on Mar.29, 2010, under Politics, Tyranny
It has been a while since I have posted. With Obamacare bearing down us, and the seeming inevitability of it, I quite surprisingly, became disconnected. Blogging and reaching the people with my thoughts on it didn’t make a difference, mostly because the majority of the country agrees with me, and despite this, the Democratic party decided to ram it down our throats anyway.
So now, our ever-present commandante, Barack Obama continues to tour around campaigning the Democrat Health Bill. They just can’t get over the fact that sixty percent of the American people did and still do not want it. He tells us that we deserve the same healthcare that the government officials have, but page 58 of the bill exempts these government officials from it. If it’s so good, why don’t they participate int he same healthcare plan that they forced on us?

So we are all supposed to be happy now that we will all be getting more affordable healthcare. Hmmmm… from last month to this month one of my prescription medications went up from $90 to $110. I guess it was just a coincidence. I don’t suppose all those new taxes on healthcare will make things ore expensive either. I’m sure that the fact that the government will oversee all the insurance plans that are offered, what they cover, and hoe much they cost, life will be easier on all of us. That way, if we can’t get the coverage we want, we know to just give up since there are no options. The government is running it all.
Well, now that the Democrat party is in single party rule and completely owns the healthcare system of the country, we all know who to blame for our healthcare problems. Hey, they wanted to take it over, so now they are responsible for all of us.
Ted is Dead and Massachusetts Vtes Red – Obama Says it’s Bsh’s Fault as Usual
by Lawrence on Jan.21, 2010, under Barack Obama's Lies, Politics
Here it is, the day after Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts. In this aftermath, Barack Obama’s talking points as uttered by himself and Robert Gibbs, his propagandist is that “it doesn’t have to do with the last one or two years, but rather the last eight years. Still blaming Bush. It doesn’t seem like such a hot explanation given the fact that Massachusetts is a dark blue state, and supposedly, according to Obama and his political advisors, the people decided to show their anger with George Bush by electing a Republican rather than the Democrat that Obama endorsed and spoke for. Yeah, Obama-logic rarely makes sense, but this is going to a whole new low in their perception of the intelligence of the American people.
According to Scott Brown’s own opinion polls, most of the people who voted for him did so because of national security. If you remember, that was one area where John F. Kennedy, a true Democrat, was strong in. Of course, the healthcare debate has a lot to do with it. Although liberal, the majority of the people in Massachusetts disagree with Obamacare just like the majority of people in the United States.
One troubling issue is that many people blame the problems solely on the Democrat leadership in congress. Of course, Harry Reed’s backroom deals and Nancy Pilosi’s blatant disregard for the will of the people are major factors. We need also put equal blame on the Obama administration’s policies. He has been touring around, campaigning, and basically pimping all the different plans that have been coming out of the congress. He chose to put the Stimulus bill in Nancy Pilosi’s hands and supported it afterwards. Obama’s people have been in Harry Reed’s backroom meetings helping to craft whatever monstrosity of a bill they are finalizing now. Why can’t he share some of the blame too? He has endorsed three Democratic candidates in Virginia, New Jersey, and now Massachusetts that have all lost to Republicans, anon Gd he still blames it on George Bush?
To Obama: No slick, the American people are sick of all the things that your and the other Democrat leaders have been doing. We would be willing to give you time to address the economy , but we actually have. I know that things cannot change dramatically in one year, but give us credit for having thoughts about your decisions in trying to address the issue. We know that punishing and demonizing businesses is not going to help create jobs. You’re just playing to peoples’ emotions and trying to get more money to spend. Making deals with your money-donors and the special interest like the special union tax waiver in the healthcare bill just shows that you lied about not listening to the special interest. Somehow your special interest groups are special and the others are evil.
So union members that have the same healthcare plan as non-union members don’t have to pay the 40 percent tax that the rest of the people have to? So, Nebraska gets a special deal on Medicaid to buy Ben Nelson’s vote? So Louisiana gets a special $300 million deal to get Mary Landrieu’s vote? So Bill Nelson’s vote got bought for allowing seniors to keep Medicare advantage in 3 Democratic counties in Florida while the rest of the state and country don’t?
Call me silly, but if you were not in favor of these deals, you might have spoken out against them.
Call me naive, but you probably could have requested that Harry Reed’s backroom deals in the Obamacare meetings the last few weeks could have been televised on C-Span like you promised eight times. At least you could have called for it.
Maybe you could have argued against the taxes on healthcare plans that will actually make healthcare plans more expensive for us, unlike your promises of reducing our expenses.
Nahhhh.. none of that had to do with Massachusetts voting in a Republican into a senate seat that has been occupied by Democrats for the last 58 years. Besides, it’s Bush’s fault that they voted for a Republican. Yeah, you make a lot of sense… dumbass.
C-Span Finally Calls on Obama to stop Breaking his Promise of Transparency
by Lawrence on Jan.05, 2010, under Politics
Barack Obama has broken a lot of campaign promises and has done a lot of lying since he took office, but one of the most frustrating things about Obama’s hipocracy is his approach to transparency. How many times did he promise an “unprecedented transparency” from his administration? Nany Pilosi made the same promise back in 2006 when the Democrats took control of the congress. Yet, they have have shown that their approach to transparency is to keep the media and the American people in the dark as mush as possible until bills are voted on as we find out about them after the vote!

Obambi, the Liar in Chief
The Democrats have been persisting with their secret meetings throughout the construction of their house and senate healthcare bills. On an almost complete, party-line vote, they have shoved things through and made the documents available to the people only after voting on the various bills in committee or on the floor. Hell, even the congress members themselves only get to see the bills right before voting and without any time to read them.

Pilosi will be one of 3-4 people to create the final healthcare bill that will decide our health and well-being
While most of us who follow politics and are not brain-dead sheep, are pissed off about this back-room dealing. C-Span has finally joined the cause. Being the sole network that covers the government 24/7, they got sick of the fact that they were banned from all of these back-room meetings where the bills were actually written. These meetings were exclusively attended by Democrats and banned Republicans, media, and ordinary citizens from observing. Now, C-Span is finally calling on Obama to live up to his promise and ask the congress to open up these final meetings on the combination of the house and senate healthcare b ills to teh public. I predict that Obama and the Democrats will ignore them and not other being transparent. Hell, they’re passing a healthcare bill that the American people are against, check just about every poll and you’ll see that it isn’t even close! They don’t care, they want to runt he healthcare industry, and there is no way they will be held back from this greatest of all socialist dreams.

“Dirty” Harry Reed has been creating the senate bill behind closed doors the whole time, so why stop now?
Barack Obama’s Lies Part 16 – The New Version of Obamacare is going to Save us Money
by Lawrence on Dec.21, 2009, under Barack Obama's Lies, Politics, Tyranny
Well, the Democrats’ most recent version of Obamacare made it past the last major hurdle over the weekend. Obama’s quick to come out and pimp this latest version, and pour out the usual propaganda. With literally ALL of the major national polls showing that the American people are against even this latest plan, which only got released after voting on it (more of that Obama transparency), he has got to convince us that we are wrong and this is what we really want.

So, after working over the CBO, they come out with the numbers that the Democrats wanted. The Obamacare bill will actually save the government money. With half a trillion dollars being taken out of Medicare, and another half of trillion dollars in tax increases on our existing healthcare plans, the government will actually save money in the next 10 years. Amazing! The government saves money by taking it away from the people! Nice, huh? They save more money by throwing the uninsured onto Medicaid, and forcing the states to pay for it instead of the federal government. I wonder if those costs will trickle down to the people to? Nebraska is safe though, they bought Ben Nelson’s vote off by making Nebraska the only states excluded from having to pay the skyrocketing Medicaid costs that this bill creates.

Didn’t Barack Obama promise us that this was going to reduce the cost of healthcare? Yeah, but that doesn’t matter, increasing the costs on all of us is best for us anyway, that way the government can control everything, and the high costs are worth paying for creating this enormous bureaucracy.
So, by putting us on the hook for it, Obama says that the government will save $130 billion in the first 10 years of Obamacare, and then $1 trillion over the next 10 years. But wait a second, doesn’t those savings all get eaten up by the fact that Obama has promised the poor nations of the world that we will pay them $100 billion a year for climate change? Looks like Obama has already sent our governments saving anyway, just the week before. Oh well, looks like we’re on the hook for already spent savings.
Democrats Determined to Ram Whatever Healthcare Pot Pouri they got Down our Throats
by Lawrence on Dec.15, 2009, under Politics, Tyranny
Despite the fact that every single poll out there shows that the majority of the people in the United States are against the various healthcare proposals that the Democrats have been putting together, King Obama called together all senate Democrats to teh White House today to create a unified 60 vote coalition to make whatever current bill they have go through the senate for a final vote. At this point, none of us know what the current draft of the bill is like. Apparently, the government option is gone and apparently they took out the expansion of Medicare to people 55 and over. Yet, we know nothing else. It is quite likely that all of the mandates and controls over the medical system are still there, which means it is still government control anyway. Apparently, the $500 billion cut in Medicare is still there as well. Yet, we don’t know for sure. The Democrats have stopped informing us of what their current bill includes weeks ago.
Yep, it’s more of that “unprecedented transparency” that we were promised by Obama, Reed, and Pilosi. Basicallly, they tell us what they want us to think, and they hide what is actually going on. All we know is that they are determined to pass whatever it is before Christmas. Yet, we must assume that some of the following issues are still part of the package:
- The most recent plan included an up to 40% tax increase on private health insurance plans. These are the so-called “Cadillac plans.” Of course there are still taxes on all kinds of private health plans. This will obviously increase the costs of our healthcare, despite the promise that they are doing this to lower our healthcare costs. Why tax us for having health insurance? On the flip side, they fine you if you don’t have a health insurance plan. What’s the deal? They’re just determined to fund their government bureaocracyover the healthcare industry on the backs of all of us. We’re basically just going to be paying for the government to expand its power, not for improving our own healthcare.
- The $500 billion cut in Medicare will obviously be scary for seniors and those nearing retirement. The notion that Medicare will not cut benefits even though they are significantly reducing its funding is purely laughable. the money isn’t going to go toward improving Medicare, the funds will go toward creating the giant bureaocracy that the government needs to create in order to rule over the entire healthcare system. Seeing how Medicare is going to be bankrupt in 8 years, it obviously needs fixing, but theis healthcare takeover is not focused on fixing anything, it’s merely focused on taking over the parts of the halthcare industry that government has not already ruined.
- while the government “option” may not be in the bill, all the regulations that the bills have had thus far control every aspect of the helathcare system. From defining what types of plans are approved and allowed by the government to creating rules for health insurance companies and healthcare providers, how can anyone say that the government isn’t going to be in control of the healthcare system? It still is a government takeover. All this money is just going to go to creating the gigantic government entity that will be controlling the whole system.
Let’s fave it folks, wheter we like it or not, the Democrats are determined to ram this thing through on us, and according to the numbers, they don’t need any Republicans to help. All the bickering so far has been about making all the Democrats agree on their own plan that they developed on their own behind closed doors. Despite the fact that most of the country is against it, they will shove it down our troats. Let’s also face reality here, these plans are not designed to do any of t things they promised. Healthcare costs will go up due to the government’s mandates and taxes, there will still be about 25 million uninsured people, and there will be less options for all of us since the government has to approve all healthcare plans. With this example of how the ruling Democrat party does not listen or care what the people think, we can rest assured their striving to take over the healthcare system will not allow for customer feedback.
Blue Dog Democrats? More Like Lap Dog Dummycrats.
by Lawrence on Nov.23, 2009, under Politics, Tyranny
The following, self-described “moderate” or “Blue Dog” Senate Democrats are a bunch of liars that have pulled the wool over the eyes of their constituents. harry Reed, liberal idiot from Nevada, created this whopping 2,000 page bill that taxes the hell out of all our health plans to pay for a new government health insurance company. It doesn’t fix a damn thing about health care, it just creates a huge government bureaucracy that rules over the private health plans and creates a whole new national insurance company. The government will run the every aspect of health treatment in this country. You think it’s hard to deal with your insurance company, try having to deal with the government!
The Liars

Evan Bayh – Indiana

Mary Landrieu – Louisiana

Blanche Lincoln – Arkansas
Mary Landrieu was bought off for $100 million in Harry Reed’s
healthcare bill where our tax dollars will go to Louisiana as a favor for voting this forward. She’s also going to pay Reed back by having a fund raiser for his senate campaign. Would a moderate do that? Would an HONEST senator do that?

Ben Nelson – nebraska
The Lie
the vote that they had in the senate this past Saturday required 60 votes to go on. Now, only one of these supposed moderates needed to vote no to stop it. They all voted yes. They put a yes vote for all of the far-left big spending plans that have gone before them in the Senate. they have shown no signs of being moderate, because they AREN’T. Now, they said that they won’t vote for the bill the way it is. They are just voting yes so that there can be debate on the bill to change it. Well, if it’s a bad bill, then why vote it forward to debate it? Why not cut it off and start over on a new one that’s better? Instead, now that the bill is going forward, it will not require 60 votes for it to be passed. In other words, now these supposed moderates made it so that their votes “no” won’t even matter in the future. By voting yes on Saturday, they have made it impossible to stop. So now, the left wing of the Democrat party can add whatever the hell they want to it and then pass it on a simple 51 vote majority. This was their chance to show a shade of being moderate, but they decided not to. These idiots really think that we can beleive that it’s prudent to shine up a turd instead of starting over with a good bill?
These so-called “Blue Dog Democrats” are really a bunch of “Lap Dog Dummycrats.”
They are liars. They are Subversive. They must go!
Whty not at least be honest about being left-wing liberals?
Barack Obama’s Lies Part 15 – The 3 Main Selling Points for Obamacare
by Lawrence on Nov.09, 2009, under Barack Obama's Lies, Politics
I know that these Obama lies are nothing new, but they bear special significance right now as the congress is trying to ram this nationalized healthcare down our throats. The 3 chief arguments that Obama is using for unleashing Nancy Pilosi and Harry Reed designed healthcare on us are not only not addressed by the bills in the house and the senate, but are actually made worse.

Nancy Pilosi doesn’t care that most of the country doesn’t want Pilosi-care. She’s going to ram it down our throats anyway.
- The first excuse that Obama and the Democrats were using to take over the healthcare system was that there were too many uninsured people in the country. Of course, rather than addressing that problem specifically, they have been designing bills that would take over the whole healthcare system, applying regulations that control every aspect of healthcare providers and healthcare insurance companies, as well as developing a government-run insurance enterprise. Yet, the bills that have been made still are estimated to leave 25 million uninsured people. The existence of uninsured people is just a smokescreen, and excuse to create a government-run system.
- Then came a shift in the talking points that the Democrats were using. Next, they shifted to the cost of health care as the main reason to let the government run the whole system. Yet, the bills that are in the house and senate right now strive to pay for developing the whole bureaucracy they need to form in order to become a nation-wide insurance company by taxing the healthcare benefits all of us now have. When a bankrupt government needs to pay for developing a whole new corporation of its own, it needs to get the money from the people some way even if that means raising the cost of their health insurance. So, basically Obama to pay for his government take over by increasing the cost of our insurance premiums What a lying sack of crap he is.
- Then, with coordinated precision, the Democrats shifted their talking points to demonize health insurance companies. In order to create more competition, the U.S. government needs to develop its own health insurance company. Rather than letting insurance companies compete across state lines, and lightening the restrictions that the federal government puts on them, the government wants to create competition by jumping into the game itself. Of course, all of the bills they are putting out make onerous rules for the insurance companies, and no rules for the government. In other words, the referee is fixing the game before the competition. If health insurance policies change int he private sector, the policy ends and the people are thrown into the government plan. The government must approve all plans that the health insurance companies offer. The health insurance companies can be sued, but the government plan cannot be sued for damages… and the list goes on and on. Of course, we have to pay for the government to develop its own insurance bureaucracy. In addition he government allows itself to not pay its bills. The government only pays 80 cents on the dollar for its healthcare bills through Medicare and Medicaid, driving up our health insurance costs to make up for their lack of paying their bills. In addition to this, Medicare andMedicaid are virtually bankrupt. Yeah, let’s let the government ruin the rest of the healthcare sector.

Barack Obama, if his lips are moving, he’s lying.
Read the bills. This is why they do it behind closed doors, and don’t give us time to read them before they vote on them. Obama and his fellow Democrats are lying to us, making hopeful promises to disguise the fact that they are planning to screw us big time in order to create the United Socialist State of America.
Senator Bill Nelson of Florida – Perfgect Example of the Type of Senator we NEED to get rid of
by Lawrence on Sep.30, 2009, under For Floridians, Politics
Senator Bill Nelson of Florida has always tried to hide behind the label of being a moderate. Since the Obama administration has taken power, and Nancy Pilosi and Harry Reed have been driving the houses of congress, however, Bill Nelson has marched in lock step with all of the far left wing of the Democratic party. He’s been a big spending member of the Senate Finance committee, and has participated in the no-accountability aspect of how the congress has been acting. You remember the fact that a lot of the recent major bills ahve been passed through a rush process where not only do the American people not get to review the legislation before its voted on, but the congress members themselves vote on it before reading it. Well, Bill Nelson is taking the side of non-transparency and not reading the bills before signing them
Bill Nelson has been voting for all of these bills promoted by the far left wing of the Democrat party. He regularly do3es not announce his positions on issues until after the vote. For example, you cannot get his position on the Employee Free Choice Act (Card Check). He doesn’t want to let you know, so he can vote the way he wants and then not have to deal with the opinons of his constituents until later. Now, he fell in line with John Kerry of Massachusetts in voting against providing the American people witht he healthcare legislation that comes out of the Senate for 72 hours prior to voting on it. He and the far left Democrats say that it is a “delay tactic.” Well, for legislation that does not take effect until 2013, what’s the problem with letting the people know about it before you vote on it? What’s wrong with having aenough time to read it yourself as senator before voting on it?

Bill Nelson has not announced whether he supprots a government insurance policy (a.k.a. public “option”), but hsi voting in the Senate Finance Committee has shown that he does. While he voted down the first amendment to put in a “public option,” he voted in favor of Chuck Schumer’s amendment for a “community option.” Does Bill Nelson think we’re dumb and don’t know that Schumer’s “community option” is a government plan? the other thing is that it is really not an option. For example, the plans they are working on now will fine someone who does not sign up for a government approved plan $1900.00 a year. So, if they ahve to fine you for not taking the plan, is it a good plan? Everyone’s talking about how it’ll be free or at least cheap. If it’s chep and/or free, would they ahve to fine you for not buying into it?
Let the record show, Senator Bill Nelson of Florida falls in line with the far left of the Democrat party and is totally in favor of pushing legislation through without letting the American people reading it, or reading it himself. he is the poster child for what is wrong with our senators and representatives these days. Florida, let’s get rid of Bill nelson in 2012l.
Barack Obama’s Lies Part 14 – He’s Fighting Against the Spwcial Interest (He Organizes the Special Interest)
by Lawrence on Aug.27, 2009, under Barack Obama's Lies, Politics, Tyranny
For the past few weeks, the mantra of the government healthcare promoters has been “Health Insurance Reform.” Barack Obama, Nancy Pilosi, Harry Reed, Henry Waxman, and Barney Frank (the usual far-left suspects) have been demonizing health insurance companies and have been blaming the surge of disappointment from the American public with the Obamacare bills on “special interest groups.” Obama and Pilosi have been characterizing their plans to take over the healthcare system as fighting for the little guy against big special interest. Of course, the polls indicate that it is the majority of the American public that is against Obamacare. Does the majority of the American people work for the health insurance industry?

At the same time, the Democratic National committee has been mobilizing its union groups, including SEIU, NEA, UAW, and AARP on bus trips to town hall meetings to pressure congressmen to support whatever Obamacare bills come out of committee. This sounds more like the real “Astroturf” to me. As Nancy Pilosi characterizes anyone against the Democrats’ plans as “swastika bearing neo-Nazis,” the polls seem to indicate that the majority of the people in our country are apparently neo-Nazis because they do not support the Obamacare proposals.
Organizing for America, Barack Obama’s campaign fund-raising organization is now run out of the DNC and is staging town hall meetings and funding their union thugs to go to these meetings to look like they are actually int he majority of opinion instead of what the polls clearly indicate. So, where’s the real Astroturf? It’s amazing how the far-left is actually trying to get away with having their paid operatives fake the semblance of having the majority of the public in favor of Obama’s healthcare plans. No wonder his approval ratings are plummeting. How long will he be able to get away with his lies and propaganda?

Here, SEIU thugs wearing their purple union T-shirts are beating up a man outside of a town hall meeting. This reminds me of the kind of stuff that Chavez or Castro would organize. no wonder why these two dictators like Obama so much.
The Real Astroturf and Violence Seems to be on the Left Side of the Healthcare Debate
by Lawrence on Aug.19, 2009, under Politics, Tyranny
Remember when Nancy Pilosi commented on the grass roots movement of the tea parties that protested the outrageous spending by the Democrat-controlled congress? She said that it was really “Astroturf” because, according to her, it was backed by conservative groups. Of course, she did not support her argument with any example of big money groups supporting them. In reality, the tea parties were just average people going out and protesting and just synchronizing their efforts together via the internet.

Where are the swastikas Nancy?
Now, Pilosi is demonizing the people who are going to town hall meetings to tell their elected representatives what they think about the proposed healthcare plans. She calls them “Nazis” and representatives of health insurance companies, which she further describes as villains. It’s the old liberal game of demonizing whatever companies htey need to to get people to support their even bigger company, government. Trouble is, with the sheer multitude of people, it is painfully obvious that these are just regular American citizens that are not happy with what THEIR government is doing. This fact is even supported by all the major polls, Rasmussen, Gallup, et al..

Health Insurance company profits are lower than most sectors. I guess since the government specializes in debt, all profit is considered “immoral.”

Most Americans are against the Obamacare plans. So, are we all Nazis?
So, the left-wing plan is to demonize health insurance companies as having too much money from “windfall profits.” Of course, this is not true. The average growth of the health insurance sector was about 3% last year, far behind other sectors. The software development sector, for example, had profits in the 20% region. While some people do have problems with their health insurance policies, at least they have choice at this point to find other policies. Having a government option will drive out private insurance companies and leave people with no option. As I have been writing, if the government does with standard health insurance what it did to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security (3 almost bankrupt government-run insurance programs), the government will only make healthcare worse.

At least the lefties can be happy that Obamacare is more popular than Pilosi herself.
The next step is to demonize people who disagree with Obamacare and the current proposals in the Senate and House. Unfortunately for the left-wingers, the majority of the country is against these proposals. But, the left-wing propaganda artists are going all out spending millions on TV ads to try and change this. Along the way, they have to call regular people “Astroturfers” in that they are somehow controlled by the health insurance companies that the left is trying to shut down and drive out of healthcare. Somehow this does not make a lot of sense with the sheer numbers of people who are against the healthcare proposals. The majority of the country works for health insurance companies?

Here, SEIU union thugs in their purple shirts are beating up a black man who was handing out material outside of a town hall meeting. So, where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharp ton on this one? Beating up a black man is ok if you’re a liberal Democrat, I guess.
With great hypocrisy, the left is now rolling out their hired goons to fill town hall meetings and make it look like there are just as many people in favor of the healthcare proposals. These goons come from the standard line up of left-wing unions, ACORN, SEIU, NEA, AARP, and AMA. They also have PHARMA supporting them, which represents the large pharmaceutical companies. So which side has the real Astroturf? These groups are also a lot less civil than the ordinary citizens that are protesting the healthcare plans. There are even ads on Craig’s List for hiring volunteers to go out and support Obamacare in their neighborhoods and at these town hall meetings. Hmmm… isn’t “paid volunteer” an oxymoron? The SEIU is also paying devoting 33% of their overall capital into these efforts. This decision was made in January, 2009. Sounds like special interest and Astroturf to me.

Looks like the people protesting Obamacare are peaceful protestors… don’t see swastikas yet.

Peaceful disagreement outside, and on the inside, the representative doesn’t want to talk.
It’s funny how the left characterizes ACORN protesting banks not loaning to people who can’t pay them back as freedom of speech, but calls people engaged int he political process with their elected representatives “Nazis.” Two Blank Panthers threatening voters in Philadelphia with Billy clubs is no big deal to the left, but senior citizens worries about how their healthcare will be rationed by the government have no right to protest. This is another clear sign of the inherent tyranny in far-left statist politics.

Sheila Jackson-Less thinks her cell call is more important than listening to a cancer survivor in her district talk to her at a town meeting.
